Yes, the vote is about White Supremacy and the "end of Christendom." But many people don't really vote for ideology but part of a group, and aspects of character: Trump seemed stronger to anxious people. Don't give up on your neighbors: they're unsettled, just in a different way!
Many of you were hoping for a clear renunciation of Trump, like this isn't the country you thought it is. He received 70,000,000 votes in part: anxious people look for seemingly strong leaders. Millions more votes because he just "beat" COVID. Don't give up on your neighbors!
I wish the city would have waited to launch their public safety plan until after they met with the clergy and community leaders. Our crime prevention plan is strong and has been battle tested over time.
