Another Pride Month baseball controversy.
The York Revolution forfeited a game after several players refused to wear Pride Night jerseys with rainbow sleeves.
Instead of forcing players to comply, the team canceled the game, accepted a loss, and moved forward with its Pride Night celebration plans.
The move comes days after four San Francisco Giants players drew backlash for protesting their team's Pride Night by writing Bible verses on their hats, prompting a warning from MLB and drawing backlash from critics.
@TheMooseNation Why are you feeling so sorry for yourself today Moose? Of course you’ve made it so long in TNA, everyone else is asking to leave . They need somebody 🤣🤣🤣
🚨BREAKING: MLB has issued formal warnings, with fines up to $10,000 on the table , against three San Francisco Giants pitchers who wrote Bible scripture on their Pride Night hats during Friday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
The Florida AG is now reaching out to MLB over whether forcing players to wear Pride logos while threatening to punish them for expressing their faith is religious discrimination. 🙏⚾
