We have become a taunt to our neighbors, mocked and derided by those around us—Ps 79:4

Jesus experienced hatred, mocking, insults, etc... So will those in HIM. Just let it not be for disobedience to HIM. Whatever the reason—patiently pray/hope/trust in HIS mercy.
