Calgary Flames forward Jonathan Huberdeau has pledged to donate his brain to science after he dies.
Huberdeau's pledge follows that of Devils defensemen Ben Lovejoy, who in December 2017 became the first active NHL player to make that commitment.
Hi, I am running the Cleveland Marathon (technically 5k...I haven't jogged since the 5k last year😉) to raise $ and awareness for CTE. If you are interested in supporting, please visit my page. Thanks!

“I was a small player, stature wise, and played gritty and played with lots of energy and tried to hit everything that moved… I don’t know what the impact of the fighting has been on my brain. That’s part of the reason I’m doing this.” - @JTBrown23

Didn't have Center Ice back in the day. We used to walk to our neighbors house to watch NHL hockey on TV38. When I became a pro, and started hearing the name @TSNBobMcKenzie , I really thought he was one of these guys. (Hi Bob, hope you are safe and well.)
Just so I have this for the sake of posterity, Sidney Crosby once told me a guy who has a kid (or his wife to be accurate), always scores in his first game back to the lineup.
If Brian Dumoulin doesn't score, I will delete this tweet.
.@RevLovejoy6 gets @UNMUZZLEDwNA
