Well, it’s the first weekend in October. So, naturally, I’m smoking a turkey breast and cooking dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, and a pecan pie.
Happy Thanksgiving! 😂
It’s already Christmas at Walmart. Why not?
What a joy to speak to the Gideons tonight in Hoover, Alabama! They hold a special place in my heart. In fifth grade, a Gideon handed me a little New Testament. I read it, and through it, I came to faith in Jesus Christ.

Prayer isn't about getting God to do what we want; it's about finding the strength to do what He's calling us to do. Whether it's forgiving, reconciling, or making that hard phone call, the strength you need is available in prayer.

David Ring had a powerful testimony. I heard him once say, "God is the cook in the kitchen, and I'm still in the oven. He isn't finished with me yet until He pulls me out and says, 'Well done!'" One day, I look forward to singing "Victory in Jesus" with David in glory.
We’ll never get our faith right until we get prayer right. Prayer is our power house and one of God’s greatest gifts to us.

Don't be afraid of science. Every honest discovery just finally notices what God tucked into creation long ago, and Scripture introduces you to the One who made it.

Have you ever heard a kid say, “That’s not fair,” over a piece of cake? That's God whispering through your conscience.
We all know right from wrong — that sense of justice inside us is evidence He's real.

“Surely, God Himself should have the lead voice in His worship. Yet too often we only read a few verses before the sermon, and the sermon may or may not relate to those verses.” — @rvannest https://t.co/CLroCNQSXl via @LifewayResearch
“Worries about religion’s demise are ever-present, but they usually tell us more about people’s cultural anxieties than they do about actual patterns of Christian decline.” — Byron R. Johnson, @ThomasSKidd https://t.co/VicYWTUkPR via @LifewayResearch
