BTT June 2: We are in the early regional round in WI, but I was privileged to umpire in the baseball state tournament series for the first time…and it was a terrific HS game! 2-1 final (all in the 1st inning) , featuring great pitching, defense & strategy…truly delightful! 🧢⚾️

BTT June 1: Got back to the office after an extended time away to find this gift from my friend @Wordell_Nate : months ago we discussed/joked how Baptism is “liquid death” to sin😁…I’m amazed he put to memory my “birthday” to my new life in Christ!📖💦✝️ #funflavornames 😂

Best Thing Today, May 31: It was a perfect day so I coaxed my mom into traveling out to Dousman to see @Shevey_8 for her maiden voyage of Land o Lakes actions…and she brought the mojo for a big Frogs victory! She loves some baseball…but probably her grandchildren more! ☀️⚾️🐸

BTT May 28: Thanks to @WLC_CMO Vicar legend Scott Henrich (10 yrs ago!😳) for letting me break up my trip home by staying with his awesome fam in Knoxville, where he is Pastor at Shepherd of the Hills!💪

Best Thing Today, May 27: The clouds lifted just enough on my final afternoon in NC, which allowed me the honor of being the first solo passenger for @RevShevKid2 (I fit in there…barely😂) ! It was great seeing the area from the sky: she did great; super proud dad! #winginit 🛩️

BTT May 26: With unpredictable weather we hit up the Schiele Museum of Natural History, a gem in the city of Gastonia! Great displays of cats (beware the smilodon 🐅😬), North American habitats & wildlife and NC wildlife. The reason I’m here: Kaylyn’s “Apriration to Flight!”😁🛩️

BTT May 25: We climbed a mountain! It was a perfect day to check out Crowder Mtn State Park, where you will notice my smile was much bigger when I started than when I submitted (overlooking Gastonia)!🥵😂 In pic three, you can see the skyline of Charlotte in the distance!🌇

BTT May 24: After church in Franklin, I “raced” south for 12+ hours, passing thru Indianapolis (500) with the final destination of metro Charlotte (Coca-Cola 600)…reaching this destination for the finish line with @RevShevKid2 ! 🏁 🧇 And, yes, I listened to both full races!😳😂

BTT May 22: Our church body rejoices for the 48 young men entering pastoral ministry…my faves at Seminary Graduation: @WLC_CMO alums Joey Behm & Mark Burger, Josh the brother of @Wordell_Nate & John Fix, son of our friends, who is going to the church I founded in MO in 1999!🥹⛪️

BTT May 21: I learned at church that my buddy Bryce Pichler is a big hitter in the Adaptive Sports League representing @HamiltonSchool1 HS…and he did not disappoint! He breaks down today’s 20-19 win…I can’t believe I didn’t travel with the Big Hat!🤷‍♂️😂 Go Bryce, Go Chargers!

Best Thing Today, May 20: It was a glorious day for golf at LongBow (instead of going to the gym😁) and lake gazing in northern MN! Special commendation to my friend Mia and her family for being such great hosts for our pastor’s conference…she also has great fashion sense!👍😂

Best Thing Today, May 19: When you’re in Walker MN, I recommend you check out Hiawatha Beach Resort! This cabin holds 12, but the big addition is the new lodge building that has a lot of stuff to complete…but the hot tub and pool are complete! #ofcourseIwentdowntheslide 🛝😳😂

Best Thing Today, May 17 (another late edition): It was a long time ago 😁, but I can’t get the Kid’s Bible Study (KBS) children at @stjohnslannon belting out the banger “By Faith” out of my mind…a great way to fade off to sleep! We also sang “He Will Hold Me Fast”…a big day!
