Author of brand new book, Fully Beloved, on God's triune, life-giving love | Pastor | Former Visiting Scholar, Princeton Seminary | Speaker-Teacher-Writer
I'm excited about the book that my son, Abram Kielsmeier-Jones, cowrote: Building a Safer Church. See cover below. Release date: April 6, 2027. Help get the word out for this important work! Website for his center is https://t.co/bEE5TNp62u @katybowser@KatelynBeaty @kategaston @flemingrut@bethfelkerjones
I'm grateful for these encouraging words endorsing my book Fully Beloved from the inimitable and gifted Andi Ashworth and Charlie Peacock:
"For decades, Timothy Jones has faithfully held out the invitation to know true love and goodness through Christ. His books have decorated our shelves and penetrated our thick, weary skin. He’s done it again with renewed insight on the subject of our most profound ache: Am I loved? Oh my, how we need the answer over and over! With Fully Beloved, Tim has given the Beloved Community just that. Like an artist, he paints beautiful stories that lead to transformative answers. This is truly literature of the loving kind."

Over the head of every knight
they saw a tongue of flame alight,
and as they gazed around in awe
it seemed that each the other saw
more fair and comely than before,
as though in Heaven’s light.

Reflecting on the kind and generous things people have said about my new book, I am grateful for these words from Sandra McCracken:
“In Fully Beloved, Tim Jones hits the heart—naming the ache of loneliness and our lifelong quest for belonging. With honesty and relatability, he invites us to encounter the God of divine love, who draws us irresistibly into deeper healing and wholeness.” In writing it, I did indeed hope readers would find that invitation to encounter irresistible. Perhaps you will sense something encouraging there, too, in, as my subtitle says, Our Heartaches and Our Hopes. @Sandramccracken@scottsauls@iamfujimura
Such a great line below, in its own right and its own birding context. But having just written a book-length exploration of the Trinity, I can't help letting my mind (and heart) go to that inexhaustible belief. So much to understand and lovingly contemplate that we haven't seen yet--now and beyond time! @MarianiPaul@pauljpastor@flemingrut@IAmJillPhillips
Fascinating defense of Twitter/x here--Paul Pastor replying to the venerable Joyce Carol Oates. What's your take on Twitter/X? I know that Fleming Rutledge left the platform, only to return. You reading this: If you are still on X, you have reasons. Is it still a viable and fruitful place? @flemingrut@pauljpastor@bethfelkerjones@BethMooreLPM@iamfujimura@iamculturecare
@JoyceCarolOates Yes, this is my sentiment exactly and the reason it’s the only social media I find tolerable.
Twitter is like a crusty dive bar where you may well get jumped before you stumble home among the throng of other idiots, but it is one million times better than, what? A Panera Bread?
How does the reality of resurrection become daily, woven into the little moments? That’s the question I’ve been sitting with lately. I ask because I believe that what God did in raising Jesus from death doesn’t have to do just with an event back then, nor only with a promise for the eternal future, but also the challenges in front of me now. The eternal in the everyday. What might it mean to invite Christ’s victory over sin and death into what we face, into what the world faces? #Easter2026 #FullyBeloved @HaejinMako@BethMooreLPM@EkstasisMag
The Three Lies, according to Henri Nouwen, about the core of our identity:
1. I am what I have.
2. I am what I do.
3. I am what others say/think of me.
How have you found yourself following one of these wrong trails? What helps you find your way back?
"As we turn to our devices and numb out, we lose the ache that once nudged us toward connection. This kind of isolation doesn't just leave us feeling empty—it also erodes our sense of mattering." -Jennifer Breheny Wallace @EkstasisMag@trinityforum@mockingbirdmin#mattering #FullyBeloved
I’m excited about this piece I wrote for Bible Gateway: “The Word ‘Trinity’ Isn’t in the Bible … So Is It Really Biblical?” It's a simple survey ideal for personal reflection, Bible study, or small group discussion. Maybe you or someone you know would benefit from it? @iamculturecare@BethMooreLPM@bethfelkerjones@pauljpastor #Trinity #Christianity @JuliansShowings@NelsonBooks
