There is no love more pure, selfless and enduring than a mother’s love.
Today, I join millions across the world in celebrating and honouring all mothers for the immeasurable sacrifices they make, the strength they carry, and the unwavering care they give to their families every single day.
Mothers are the heartbeat of our homes and the moral compass of our society. Their prayers, wisdom, resilience and kindness shape generations and inspire hope even in the most difficult moments.
As we mark this special day, I also remember with deep love and gratitude all mothers who are no longer with us, including my own dear mother whose values, teachings and sacrifices continue to guide my life to this day. Though they may be gone physically, their love and legacy remain forever alive in our hearts.
To every mother across Kenya and beyond, thank you for the countless roles you play in nurturing families and building our nation.
Happy Mother’s Day.

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6
This Easter Sunday, we celebrate the triumphant truth that light has overcome darkness, and life has conquered death.
Because He lives, we are reminded that every challenge can be overcome, every season can change, and every new day carries the promise of restoration and joy. The risen Christ calls us to rise too, to rise in faith, in courage, and in purpose.
May this sacred day renew our faith, strengthen our hearts, and inspire us to walk boldly in the light, carrying hope, extending grace, and reflecting His love in all that we do.
He has risen indeed. Alleluia.
Easter reminds us to have hope that even in the hardest of times, triumph can arise.
Over the years, I’ve often spent Easter mornings with my family. Surrounded especially by the little ones who remind me to find joy in the simplest of things. Their joy is a gentle reminder to slow down and be present in the moment.
I have needed that reminder across many difficult seasons, from raising my children as a single mother, to standing my ground in situations I had a lot to lose.
Kenya is in a hard season, and the road has been long and the weight has been heavy.
But in the same breath, I know we Kenyans are resilient and we’ll keep showing up. We’ve done it before and we will keep doing it.
Happy Easter, Kenya. On the other side of the suffering we bear, hope is resurrecting.

FAITH OVER FEAR
This morning I joined fellow leaders from the United Alternative Government in worship at the East Africa Pentecostal Church, Njotene Parish in Buuri Constituency, Meru County.
Our plan had been to fellowship with believers at the Kaaga Methodist Church. However, the sudden arrival of the Deputy President, Kithure Kindiki, accompanied by a large contingent of police officers, turned what should be a sacred space of prayer into a scene of intimidation. Such actions reflect malice and unnecessary political theatrics in places meant for worship and reflection.
But as believers, we know that no display of power can shake our faith. We serve one God, and His word reminds us in Isaiah 41:10:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
BOOK LAUNCH!
THREE DAYS TO GO.
In three days, I will officially launch my book, THE FIGHT FOR ORDER, a tome about the secret political deals, statecraft and a reckoning with power.
It uncovers the backroom realities of policymaking, the small ambitions guiding this administration, and the deeper obstacles stalling the country’s progress.
KIAMBU CANNOT BE DIVIDED: UNITY IS OUR STRENGTH
The heartbeat of Kenya’s economy cannot be spoken of without mentioning Kiambu. Its vibrant farms, bustling markets, and industrious people make it a cornerstone of national prosperity.
That is why any attempt to detach Kiambu from the central region is nothing short of a political mirage, outdated, divisive, and destined to fail. Our people see through such schemes, and they have made it clear: their focus is on unity, better governance, and growth that benefits all.
In Kiambu town, I joined fellow leaders of the United Opposition as we were received with warmth and enthusiasm. The spirit of the people spoke volumes, Kenyans yearn for cooperation, shared vision, and leadership that unites rather than divides.
And it is in that unity that lies Kenya’s true power to rise, to innovate, and to prosper.
