hello twitterverse! ventilators are stockpiled and going unused in india, due to lack of maintenance. any biomedical engineers able to help (remotely or onsite in india) are appreciated!
Lack of staff and technicians in several government hospitals in Telangana is creating a serious situation of stocked up ventilators and other medical supplies not being able to be put to use and eventually turning waste.

I've known @brenna__smith since she was a student journo @dailycal. She's smart, brave and compassionate--exactly the qualities that we should all be looking for in our colleagues. I can't believe the online abuse that's being directed at her. Just unbelievable.
I am so proud of @brenna__smith, one of my best friends, for her first byline @USATODAY.
The amount of vitriol from trolls on this site in response to her story is beyond shameful. The fact that it's targeted at a debut journalist who is doing fantastic work is sickening.
I can't believe I stepped away from journo twitter only to come back to see people dunking on my former editor because she helped write an article that they disagree with. And with misogynistic undertones. What the hell?
For once, Dinesh is (sort of) right. There is no national min wage in Denmark — but that's because the private sector is so heavily unionized that workers in most industries are able to set a de facto minimum, including $22 for full-time McDonald's workers. So @AOC is also right.
Civics education has to be part of the cure for our democracy, say @dsallentess and others. They offer a roadmap that celebrates political disagreement rather than pretending there can be one accepted version of US history. @postopinions https://t.co/LLHbbP70OS
