TLDR;
I took my time to write this about "why nfts projects are struggling these days."
So, go through it and give your review.
the nfts market today looks very different from what people saw of 2021 – 2022. back then, when hype and noise drove the space, but now the conditions that allowed any project with a catchy name and some art to succeed are gone. what we're seeing now is that most nfts projects are struggling, and the reasons are deeper than just “bear market sentiment.""”
I'd say that one of the problems is that many projects are now built on speculation rather than substance. collectors buying in expection of quick flips, not long-term value. When floor prices started dropping, the thin foundations of these projects were exposed. without real utility or a reason for people to keep holding, communities quickly lost interest. another thing, oversaturation has made things worse, we now have 10s of 1000s of collections, and many of them are just copied from one another. We can't differentiate them! scarcity only matters if the asset has meaning, and in a crowded marketplace, very few projects can stand out.
another key thing is that, the collapse of royalties. for a while, secondary sales gave devs a consistent revenue stream, but once marketplaces made royalties optional, most projects lost their predictable cash flow. without that income, teams struggled to sustain operations, innovate, or build meaningful experiences for holders. This pushed many projects into a cycle of minting more and more assets just to survive, diluting their own value in the process.
community expectations have also changed. then, peeps were willing to buy just art, but today, nft is longer art. simply releasing a set of pfp is no longer enough anymore. those who haven’t evolved beyond that model are fading into irrelevance.
the communities around nfts have also proven fragile. many projects are now built around speculative hype and short
term gains. Peeps now are more concerned with when moon kind of thing rather than genuine engagement. and once the financial incentive disappeared, most of those communities collapsed. the projects that survive tend to be the ones that have mission driven or culture driven communities that care about more than just price.
regulating has added another layer of complexity. the lines between nfts as collectibles and nfts as securities remain blurry. this uncertainty has slowed down innovation, scared off potential investors, and made projects hesitant to experiment with new models. directly, liquidity has drained out of the nft market as capital rotated into hotter narratives like AI, layer 2 ecosystems, and real-world asset tokenization. Nfts no longer dominate attention the way it once did.
But the problem is that many projects have failed to evolve. projects that only exist as a static collection of jpegs can not compete in today’s nfts space. the ones that are still thriving are those that are with real utility from 3 or 4 yrs back.
the truth is that nfts were never really about pictures. They were always about ownership. The next successful projects will be the ones that deliver ownership with real world or digital value that people genuinely care about. That could mean fractional IP rights, loyalty systems for brands, digital identity infrastructure, or creative ecosystems where holders play an active role in shaping the story and and not just being a jeeter for quick 5$.
the nft space is not dead yet as supposed. the days of easy money and hype driven flips are gonna be over soon.
So it's time to support nfts projects, and let's get it back to where it is supposed to be.
Kill greed and support projects that are supposed to be supported. Devs should limit collections and go for quality over quantity. This way, we are going to be back to where we are supposed to be.
In the end, NFT will prevail!
Tag your favorite nft project to this post, and let's walk the walk.

If true, let me in. I will also try listening to her songs.
I have collected more than 5 airdrop codes for projects this year.
Done all the tasks needed. Got my airdrop badge, but I have gotten any airdrop from these yet.
What am I doing wrong?
The only airdrop i have gotten this year is Fogo airdrop.
I am cooked!
