I have some negative things to say also (in the three pods I've done on it, I bring up how I don't like the 'science project' orientation of rewards versus subnet usage based rewards).

But.

I was there (Gandalf ... four thousand years ago) for the ETH ICO and early BTC days. Those things were FAR from perfect or obvious that they would work then also.

World computer! Big deal. What's is useful for? We already have Bitcoin. Why do we need this new dumb coin?

Bitcoin. Pah! Liberty dollar died, Flooz died, this will too. The UI is shit. You can't buy anything with it. It's dumb. Etc.

Bittensor FEELS to me a TON like both of those primordial ecosystems. The cult and sheer talent pouring cycles into building on it, the volume of raw activity ... I think they'll work the problems out.
