@MarvelExrth616 This is how most Hollywood blockbuster productions work beyond just Marvel, both to disguise the actual film being made from leakers and to keep the name of the project consistent despite the name for the film often changing during marketing (e.g. SUPERMAN: LEGACY to SUPERMAN).

Meryl Streep is offbase here. Strong characters do not require "complexity" (moral ambiguity) but development that serves the themes & goals of the story being told. Marvel is also known for complex superheroes, e.g. the FF always bickering, Loki changing sides.

As overdone as legacy sequels are, this makes sense; from the first Conan movie we know that the story ends with Conan an old man on a throne. Arnold Schwarzenegger coming back would be the perfect way to tell that story.

Characters: #ChiwetelEjiofor is great as the main character. #MichaelFassbender, #LupitaNyongo, #PaulDano and #BenedictCumberbatch are standouts.
Enjoyment: gripping but very downbeat throughout, a painful watch in all the right ways.
