Is your name Eloise? Have you now or ever had a boyfriend/partner/husband called Mark? Did Mark love you, as always? And lastly, were you a Bruce Springsteen fan? If so, I may have your record. #BruceSpringsteen#vinyl#EloiseAndMark
Another fresh from a bath. I admit to not playing this one too often, but it’s always a good listen. Not the same feel as their earlier stuff, but I like this era Stranglers. #vinyl#TheStranglers#Feline#NowPlaying#VinylCommunity
Just cleaned this and giving it a spin. There’s a lot to like on this record, folk, certainly, with definite prog leanings. Hard not to be with Rick Wakeman in your band I guess. A slow starter but comes to life midway through side 1.

Starting Saturday evening early with Pugwash and The Olympus Sound. Definitely one for fans of XTC who heavily influence Walsh’s song writing. Andy Partridge even gets a writing (and vocal) credit on Here We Go Round Again, and that track alone is like a lost XTC tune.

Can’t believe I uploaded this 14 years ago! I never really adopted YouTube fully as a platform but it’s always in the back of my mind to do more on it. Anyway, take a look. This is a great performance. #BertJansch#JohnnyMarr

October 13TH - WHO HISTORY
1965 - #TheWho record "My Generation", a song that expresses the anger and frustration of teenagers of the day. Roger Daltrey would later say that he stuttered the lyrics to try to fit them to the music. The #BBC initially refused to play the song because it did not want to offend people who stammer, but later reversed its decision. The tune would rise to number 2 in the #UK, but stalled at number 74 in the US.
1967 - The Who's "I Can See for Miles" is released in the UK. The single peaked at #12, while in the #US it reached #9 and was the group's biggest hit through 1982.
Feeling a bit better pain wise, enough to cook a roast beef spectacular. Listening to some Sunday jazz whilst peeling veg. #vinyl#jazz#JonsCookingMusic
Incidentally, the Fry Haldane sticker top right points to this record being owned at one time by University College Bristol.
