@Salehdakoalas @BigMarcel24 I do think he beats Gafurov! Gafurov is a very slick striker, but I feel Hussein will be able to match his striking while also having a big grappling edge. The pressure of Hussein is also a large factor in my decision. Hussein should be able to wear Gafurov down and sub him imo!

@fhortknoxx Exactly! He’s gotten more polished as an offensive grappler over the past few years, but his cardio and handling of pressure have not been improved in the slightest. He seemingly is what he is and while he’s nowhere close to trash, it limits his long term potential!

@fhortknoxx This is exactly how I view him. I think he’s solid and definitely better than a lot of these bums in the UFC rn, but I don’t think he makes it too far. He is only 24 though so there is a chance he gets a bit better and surpasses expectations!

@WallinBallinR Ya I can’t trust his cardio and he’s not as clean of a striker as a lot of people like to believe. He’ll definitely win a good amount of fights, but I don’t think he has too much potential to go far! His BJJ also isn’t great so better grappler will get the best of him

@CroppedParrot52 I definitely like that aspect of Tahir’s game, but I really can’t come around to liking him. He got four points taken in a single round due to fence grabs against Khotam and he’s always whining for fouls when there aren’t none. Hope he fixes this because he’s a very fun fighter!

@CroppedParrot52 Ya he’s very frustrating to watch. He has the power and athleticism to be a threat, but he throws exclusively power shots and he waits too long as he comes forward. He also cheats a lot lol, grabs the cage more than anyone I’ve ever seen 😂

@mmawizzard Im guessing it was due to them needing a body for UFC Baku and Tahir being Azerbaijani. Still, no excuse not to sign Boynazarov at this point… hope he’s signed by the end of the year if he wins this next one!

@ccbreborn @MarkBerrihehe He’s such a smooth athlete and he’s really well rounded! He even outgrappled Kurtis Campbell in moments during their amateur fight. I have him and Osmanli as my two favorites! I just worry about his chin, he leaves it open too much and he’s gotten cracked a couple times!
