Oh how we would have turned on notifications just to hear how Mkoma Alex would have dissected this charade and made it more understandable to the ordinary citizen!
How we miss your wisdom and just your writing ✍️ man !
Oh death do not be proud
Today Zimbabweans miss you a little more than everyday ( we generally do )
We needed your insight and explanations Wangu !

It’s a sad day .
Greetings from Lusaka,
I speak on behalf of all Africans in saying Senegal are the only AFCON Champions of 2026 Africans know.
Anyone claiming to be a winner is forcing a relationship. Trophies are won on a football pitch, not in a boardroom.
That's it. That's the tweet !!
It's 16 years 2day since you passed lil bro, you would have turned 38yrs in 2weeks, I wonder how you would look like. I doubt you would have had a full beard😄 I miss you dude❤️
Can you believe people still talk about you today? You left a mark my guy. Continue to rest in peace.
Good afternoon folks. My name is MaZwangendaba. I'm a Zimbabwean teacher and I'm saying no to Vision 2030 because it doesn't align with my aspirations or dreams.
I can't leave on a 300 USD salary.
That's literally living from hands to mouth.
It is my constitutional right to vote. One man one vote.
This video truly hurt me to the core. I grew up in Harare in the 1980s and early 1990s before I left the country to go abroad to study, and First Street was the pride of Harare.
We would go to First Street to window shop, and to eat at the restaurants that were there. People went on their first dates there. We had shops like HM Barbour and Woolworths. It was just beautiful being there.
But when I watched this video yesterday, it really broke my heart to see that our capital city has been reduced, by the economic circumstances that our country finds itself in.
There were no cars allowed to be driven on First Street, but today kombi drivers are driving through it. It shows the political and economic decadence that has gripped Zimbabwe, and how poverty has trampled many of our people into submission.
This is truly sad to watch. It is truly heartbreaking to watch. But as I always say, we can only watch until the day we decide that enough is enough. This does not affect people based on partisanship. It affects every Hararian and every Zimbabwean who took pride in their capital city.
First Street is the equivalent of places like Nelson Mandela Square in Johannesburg, St George’s Mall in Cape Town, Oxford Street in London, and Times Square pedestrian zones in New York, iconic urban spaces where cars are restricted so that people, commerce, and city life can breathe.

🔸What a beautiful surprise.😅
It is a huge honour to be voted “Zimbabwean of the Year” by the people. I treasure the gift of being able to speak with and for those who aspire for a Zimbabwe that works, that is globally competitive and has freedom, fairness and opportunity for all. This is the only Zimbabwe we have so we must join hands to build it, champion excellence and demand competent, ethical leadership that drives our great nation forward.
Congratulations to all fellow nominees. Let us work hard to ensure the Zimbabwean Dream becomes a reality for everyone.
Thank you to @iMisred and @ZiFMStereo for affording the people this platform.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
How many reposts for these People's Doctors who supported the Albinism Konnect Vikela Skin Cancer Screening programme at Mpilo Hospital on Saturday.
@Waynemanana
🔸Good day @GGuvamatanga,
Surely this can’t have been a serious submission? Do you ever ask these political elites why they need US$100,000 in cash? Do you ever inquire how it was withdrawn? What is stopping political elites from using the banking system when they distribute their loot? Why is it always cash? First answer that before asking us why a corporate needs to withdraw $5,000 of its own money. These dubious taxes and levies are why people end up resorting to cash deposit boxes and safes. Your system is selective, irrational and rotten.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
🔸It doesn’t make sense that we pay high taxes but the country never has money for basic services like ambulances, computers for schools, medication for hospitals and electricity.
It doesn’t make sense that, as individuals, they can afford to buy more cars than the total number of ambulances the Govt owns altogether.
Something has gone dangerously wrong in this nation.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
This was and still is the only Zimbabwean football team to qualify for the Olympics. They were promised stands in 2016 and they never received them. Instead they were given $5 upon arrival from Brazil, packed into a bus like sardines and dumped at Townhouse in Harare zvikanzi aziva kwake, aziva kwake. Tinokumbirawo varangarirwewo.

Great initiative by #GreatmanMusic. RETWEET and help him reach as many people as possible!
You know what, my people? A retweet costs you nothing. And when you see somebody who is disabled, like Great Man, pushing this initiative, it should shame us who are able-bodied that we are not able to assist those who are disabled.
The least we can do is to RETWEET so that those who have the heart to help can actually support this cause.
So I ask you again, please RETWEET this initiative that Great Man, who is disabled, has started to assist people like him who are disabled.
It costs you nothing at all as a Zimbabwean or an African to simply RETWEET, or as any other nationality.
Musician Greatman wrote to Minnie Baloyi, wife of Vice President Chiwenga, asking for help to get wheelchairs for people in need. Minnie Baloyi responded positively and asked him to send a formal letter to her office.
True to her word, she has now donated 20 wheelchairs and US$2,000 to Greatman’s charity project. This donation will help Greatman continue providing wheelchairs to people in poor communities who urgently need them.
At the handover, Greatman thanked Baloyi for her support and praised her for helping vulnerable people living in crowded areas. The new wheelchairs and money will allow the Greatman Foundation to reach more people and improve the lives of those with mobility challenges.
This kind gesture shows Minnie Baloyi’s willingness to support projects that help vulnerable communities.
