Filmed this morning - a mother feeding her chick.

Our hand-reared birds were all marked with wing tags or leg rings before release. This adult female does not appear to have any such marking and is therefore likely to have been reared in the wild here in Wiltshire.

GBG located 18 nests this year. 6 have been preserved from mowing with the help of local farmers. One nest was impossible to save in situ. The 3 eggs were taken (under @NaturalEngland licence) to be hatched at @CotsWildTweets (our partners) and are being reared by the GBG.
