@biggtcgg According to the comprehensive rules, trigger is a keyword effect. When a card’s effects are negated, the card is now vanilla without effects.

On Play may be irrelevant in your scenario, but if you did debuff there characters and now they lose the debuff, they can swing etc

@biggtcgg Yes, it loses the trigger attribute. But what about the -3k de-buffs? Are those gone or do they stay because they were an On Play?

@Vampyrgaming I started playing Kaido on the sim and you either take the life or throw a 1K counter after leader effect .

I would take the life to draw another card.

If I’m Ace I’m swinging to have them expend a card
