General Category medical students & doctors are now adding UR (Unreserved) after their names on social media.

Some may laugh & say: “What difference will it make?”
But every movement starts with a symbol.

👉 Medicine is not just another career - it’s a field where skill, merit & excellence can literally decide life or death. Yet, we are still stuck with a reservation system that forces UR students to score 100+ marks higher than reserved counterparts for the same seat.

This is not justice, this is discrimination in the name of social justice.

The UR trend is a peaceful protest. It is a way of saying:

> Enough with caste politics in critical fields.

> Enough with merit being punished.

> Enough with playing with healthcare for vote banks.
