@ThatBaldGamer Though it should still always be remembered that the GB Operator is not running the game on hardware, it is still just loading the ROM into an emulator.
If you are happy to use a GB operator that is ok, just don't act mightier than thou over anyone hunting on emu
@JuneTheFoxgirl@MDLuffy1234@TylerTinted Sorry, to correct this, I forgot Electabuzz isn’t in Yellow.
Shiny Electabuzz (11/10/10/10) is possible in Red.
Shiny Magneton, Grimer, Muk and Voltorb in are possible in Pokémon Yellow’s Power Plant.

Another set of special Pokémon has been brought HOME thanks to work from our dedicated volunteer Andrew!
So cool to see these Pokémon & special memories being preserved for future adventures 🧡🤍
@amachairidis@ahenley17 If you are a company that already has the production line needed to make this a reality maybe.
Not if you are renting a space, buying your own printers, and assembling & testing them by hand.
Community noting myself here because there is a 100% encounter repel trick for Onix that I missed.
Encounters would be much slower in this case but it would guarantee the first shiny is Onix.
Each encounter in Pokémon Gold/Silver takes around 16-20 seconds.
That’s around 36 - 45 hours per shiny on average.
Onix’s highest encounter rate in Gold is 30% (31.58% if you repel trick off the 5% Larvitar) so the expected time to find a shiny Onix is around 121 - 152 hours.
Let’s all be super sceptical if he actually manages to get this shiny on his first stream and first phase.
At the end of the day this is a business move, not a passion project.
The shiny isn’t the end goal, it’s likely going to be an ad for the ModRetro systems.
I’ve beaten Floyd Mayweather
I’ve become United States Champ
I’ve sold a Pokémon card for $16.5M
But no feat will be harder than my next. Tomorrow, I will attempt to catch my first ever Shiny Pokémon: 1 in 8,192 Odds
The Pokémon equivalent of hitting a hole in one
And not just any Pokémon…
Steelix. One of my all time favorites. Shiny Steelix is a GOATED shiny, a pure 24k Gold TITAN.
I won’t stop hunting until I catch a shiny Onix, then evolve him via trade + metal coat into Steelix.
For every Pokémon encounter, we’ll add $1 to a prize pool. When I catch Shiny Onix, one lucky viewer will get the entire pot 💰
I could be hunting for days. And I’m live streaming all of it on my YouTube (LoganPaulVlogs) & Twitch (LoganPaulWasTaken) starting 12p EST

@MajorSSB Great catch! I didn’t see the high level Onix on the bottom floor - encounter time would be super slow but the nice thing about the repel trick is you are skipping every useless non-target encounter.
Did the print factory just entirely forget to remove the sheets where they tape together the holo foil?
I don’t think we’ve ever seen this many red-tape/retained obstruction errors on a set release EVER
