We can’t keep treating these scandals like background noise. For decades it’s been the same script “irregularities,” “lapses,” “errors” yet no one is ever held accountable.
Let’s be honest: no one walks away with 300B in government bonds without Treasury and CBK’s knowledge. That’s not oversight that’s complicity.
What is even more alarming is the growing numbness among citizens. As the figures become more outrageous, the public explanations become more casual, and the impunity becomes more entrenched. The theft gets bigger, the excuses get softer, and impunity grows bolder. Parliament and the Senate must step up. Why aren’t they over-sighting this? it’s only Okiya that has been consistent.
Raila Odinga was like the elephant in a dark room. Each of us touched a part of him;a leg and thought him a tree, a side and thought him a wall, a trunk and thought him a hose, a tail and thought him a whip.Only now, with the light on, and him resting with the ancestors do we see the enormity of who he was — good, flawed, immense, divisive and deliberative. An indelible part of 🇰🇪 journey.
Whether you loved or hated Raila Odinga, you can’t erase his impact.
He fought, he failed, he rose, he fell.
But through it all, he made us talk about justice, fairness, and Kenya itself.
Now that he’s gone, who among our leaders truly fights for us, and who only fights for position?
It's upto us to do it ourselves. We are the ones to make Kenya better
Rest in peace
Senator Sifuna: The most frustrating issue for the public is that the Auditor General's office states the law has been violated without providing recommendations or consequences for those accountable
We want to tell the people of Sudan,
That William Ruto does not act on our behalf,
And everything he does, he does alone.
We the people of Kenya stand with you in your quest for a better country.
Stay strong. We are in this together ✊
