Grand Marshal of the Crimson Bastion

Titus is the embodiment of battle-hardened stoicism.
He wears the Lacquered Plate of the First Watch, a suit of ornate, dark crimson armor trimmed with the thick, grey fur of Northern wolves. His eyes are steady and heavy-lidded, showing no fear or surprise even as the world around him burns.
He stands as a motionless pillar of discipline amidst the chaos of war, his presence alone enough to steady the hearts of his soldiers.

📜 History (The Unbroken Vow)

Titus was born into a caste of hereditary protectors who once guarded the marble cathedrals of the Gilded Remnant before the Elves retreated into isolation. When the Elves abandoned their human and Canine-kin allies, Titus refused to leave his post. He reorganized the shattered city guards into the Sovereign Vigil, an elite order of mercenaries and protectors for hire. His history is defined by unyielding loyalty to the mission rather than a king. He has stood his ground against the Blood-Throne Empire’s vanguard and survived a direct confrontation with Skari Blood-Whisker, earning a reputation as the only commander in Amia who cannot be moved by threat or bribe.

⚖️ The Law of the Eternal Watch

The Vigil follows the Law of the Eternal Watch:
"Loyalty is not a choice, but the lifeblood of the pack. The watch ends only when the heart stops."
They are considered the most reliable faction in Amia because they never break a contract. Unlike the Iron-Claw Syndicate, who fight for glory and plunder, Titus and his Houndsmen fight to maintain order. They view the Rodent Sovereignty’s machines as noisy distractions and the Orc Empire as a storm that must eventually blow itself out.

Current Objective:

He is currently fortifying the Bridge of Tears. While he knows that Kaelen the Bone-Weaver intends to turn the area into a crystalline graveyard, Titus has already ordered his men to chain themselves to the bridge. He intends to hold the line until the last refugee has passed, even if he must face the end of the world without blinking.
