For example, we cannot tolerate ideologies with designs for world dominance or desire to usurp Western hegemony (i.e. Nazis, Soviet Union, China, and Islam if it cannot give up it's violent maxims)

In business, feeding the self (or shareholders) is dependent on meeting the interests of ALL stakeholders, not just the self. But perhaps his argument is based on the difference b/w responsibility & interest. (2/2)

I agree with Friedman that the primary interest is the self (in this case, shareholders), but not the sole interest (1/2)
