Hello everyone,

How are you all doing?

Today is Saturday, June 27, 2026. It has been a little over two weeks since the #WorldCup began, and the entire world is living to the rhythm of matches, victories, and defeats.

As an American, I wanted to come back to the match of June 25, played in #LosAngeles, my own city, between the #UnitedStates and #Turkey. An intense game… unfortunately lost 2–3.

To be honest with you, I am not a die-hard football fan. But that evening, I was deeply disappointed for my country. Like many others, I comforted myself by thinking: maybe a comeback later. Maybe a still-possible World Cup victory.

But today, I want to take you somewhere else.

Into the silence of the 19th century.

The 19th century remains, for me, a fascinating era. One I would have loved to witness with my own eyes… especially in #Reytac. To be invisible, like a little mouse, and see what the great families were hiding behind closed doors. To understand alliances, tensions, and truths that were never written down.

And precisely… our research has recently uncovered a disturbing new element.

A truth about #LouaneDavis and her husband #FrankDavis.

An episode that explains why they almost had to be expelled from Reytac.

But as often in this story… none of it would have been possible without the intervention of #LizReytac.

A woman whose name always appears where balances begin to shift.

It all starts with a student: #JezabelMiller.

A brilliant young girl, diligent, respected by her teachers, but also deeply attached to her image, carefully shaped by her mother, who described her as “the most beautiful child in Reytac.”

Louane Davis, their teacher, had given her a simple but symbolic assignment: learn a poem in French and recite it in front of the class.

A few days later, Jezabel Miller’s academic results were officially recorded:

But behind these perfectly aligned lines… something went wrong.

Certain grades assigned by Louane Davis were not accepted by #EmyliaMiller.
And that is where everything changed.

A disagreement. A tension. Then… a catastrophe.
I cannot reveal everything to you yet.

But remember this: in Reytac, the quietest records often hide the most violent storms.

I hope your week has started well. Everything is going well on my side. It is July, the sun is shining, my family is doing well, and for that I deeply thank #God, our Heavenly Father.

But today, let us return to our favorite journey… the one that takes us back to a distant, mysterious, and fascinating era: #Reytac in the 19th century.

A time when anything seemed possible… an era where destinies could change within a matter of hours, where family secrets could sometimes be more dangerous than weapons, and where a small town lost in the #PalmSprings desert could become the stage for events that no one would ever forget.

But one question still remains today:

Was Reytac truly a forgotten town lost in the desert… or was it a story that time itself tried to erase?

The 1861 Trial: Two Worlds Facing Each Other

When the doors of the courthouse opened in 1861, it was not just three young men who were standing trial.

It was an entire town holding its breath.

On one side stood the Taylor family, an influential, respected, and powerful family. At the center of it all was #JudeTaylor, a young man whose destiny would forever be shaped by this case.

On the other side of the courtroom were the more modest families, those who had suffered because of the actions committed by the three accused: #MaximusCollins, #JerrymelCallahan, and #VictorMurphy.

However, some families chose not to attend the trial.

The Callahan and Murphy families reportedly refused to appear. According to certain testimonies found in Reytac’s archives, they were exhausted by their own sons’ behavior and by the troubles they had caused throughout the town.

As if they wanted to turn the page…

But for Reytac, it was already too late.

#LubertTaylor: A Man of Justice… or a Man of Power?

At that time, Lubert Taylor held the position of mayor of Reytac. He was no longer a judge, but his influence over the town remained considerable.

And this trial was about to become his defining moment.

Certain cases that former mayor #AbrahamReytac had managed to calm or close suddenly came back to the surface. Forgotten accusations. Buried testimonies.

Wounds that had never truly healed.

Lubert Taylor appeared determined to reveal the truth… but some people began wondering:

Was he seeking only justice… or did he also want those who had threatened his family to pay the price?

A Trial Watched by the Aristocracy

The trial quickly went beyond the borders of Reytac.

Members of the aristocracy traveled to witness the proceedings. Some came out of curiosity.

Others were fascinated by legal matters.

But many were there for one specific reason:

To testify against the three young men accused of spreading fear throughout the town.

According to writings attributed to #IldalyKing, the atmosphere inside the courtroom was electric.

Jerrymel Callahan and Victor Murphy were reportedly terrified.

They allegedly cried when faced with the seriousness of their situation.

Perhaps they finally understood that their actions had gone too far. But Maximus Collins was different.

Maximus Collins: The Man Who Seemed to Fear Nothing

Unlike the two other defendants, Maximus Collins reportedly remained defiant until the very end.

Maximus Collins did not appear to fear justice.

Or the mark of a man the town would remember for all the wrong reasons?

While discovering these accounts, one question came to my mind:

Did Lubert Taylor simply use his power to protect his son and deliver justice… or did he sometimes cross the boundaries imposed by his role as mayor?

Because throughout Reytac’s history, power could become a weapon.

And sometimes, those who hold justice in their hands must also face the judgment of History itself.

As for #MarvinCollins, Maximus’s father, the archives describe him as a quiet, respectable, and well-liked man.

A man who seemed to be the complete opposite of his own son.

So how could such a calm and discreet father watch his child become one of the most controversial figures in Reytac’s history?

Perhaps the answer lies within the next pages of the trial…

I hope you're all doing well. It's a pleasure to welcome you back for another #ReytacChronicle, where every archive seems to uncover yet another forgotten secret.

Yesterday was a celebration at our home. My family and a few close friends gathered to celebrate the end of the @FIFAWorldCup . No matter who lifted the trophy, we were hoping to see a Hispanic nation crowned #champion. Whether it was #Argentina or #Spain, we were thrilled to see one of those two great teams win it all.

But today...The mood changes.

It's almost lunchtime here. My daughters are out for the day, and for once, I'll be eating alone. Yet while some of us enjoy a quiet afternoon, more than 160 years ago, others were preparing to witness one of the most explosive trials in Reytac's history.

Today's investigation brings us back to two young men whose lives could not have been more different.

On one side...#JudeTaylor.

The son of Mayor Lubert Taylor, a respected former judge and member of one of Reytac's most influential families. A quiet, deaf young man who loved fishing, whose disability sadly made him an easy target.

On the other side...Maximus Collins.

The son of a blacksmith.

His family was honorable. Historical records describe #MarvinCollins as a hardworking craftsman whose skills were essential to Reytac's growth. But his son appeared to have chosen a very different path.

According to numerous accounts, Maximus preferred fighting over working. Intimidation over honesty.

Violence over respect. And he wasn't alone.

Standing beside him were Jerrymel Callahan and Victor Murphy, two young men whose names repeatedly appeared in complaints filed by several families throughout the town.

Then came the incident that changed everything.

The attack on Jude Taylor.

After being mocked, shoved, and thrown into the water while fishing alone, Jude returned home and told his father exactly what had happened. This time...

Because today, we're stepping into a very different kind of battle.

One that is much older. And far more unsettling.

Our journey takes us back to Reytac, deep in the 1850s, a remarkable town rising from the desert that already fascinated the entire region.

At first glance, everything seemed perfect.

The streets were immaculate. Businesses flourished.

The wealthiest families lived in remarkable comfort.

Throughout its existence, Reytac had only two mayors.

The first was its founder, #AbrahamReytac. The second...

The formidable Lubert Taylor. A respected man.

A former judge. A brilliant strategist.

A devoted family man. But above all...

A father willing to do anything to protect his son.

Living alongside Lubert were his wife Beth, their daughter Sally, and their youngest child, Jude Taylor.

For the past several days, we've been following the story of this deaf young man who, despite his disability, would become one of the most mysterious figures in Reytac's history.

From childhood, Jude endured insults, humiliation, and violence.

And the incident at the river was simply the final straw.

Remember...

Just weeks before the devastating 1861 fire, Jude had gone fishing, as he often did.

Today, we're revisiting one of the most disturbing moments of Jude Taylor's youth.

From the day he was born, the son of Judge, and later Mayor, #LubertTaylor, seemed to attract attention, but not the kind any child would want.

Among those who relentlessly targeted him, one name appears again and again throughout the historical accounts. #EmyliaMiller.

Even while Jude was still just a child, she appeared to harbor an unexplained hostility toward him. Why?

What was it about this young boy that inspired so much hatred? Was it simply because he was deaf?

Ironically...

It was on one of those very days that they crossed paths with Jude Taylor. At first...It was only insults.

They also knew that because Jude was deaf, he couldn't cry out for help like anyone else.

Then they took things even further. They shoved him.

They threw him into the water along with his fishing gear.

Maximus grabbed Jude's fishing rod and walked away with it as if it were a trophy.

The three young men laughed.

They believed they had humiliated a defenseless boy.

But they forgot one very important fact.

Jude Taylor could tell his story. Not with his voice.

It's a pleasure to welcome you back for another chapter dedicated to #Reytac, the mysterious upper-class town that continues to fascinate everyone who studies its history.

For the past several days, we've been exploring the stories of the five survivors of the devastating 1861 fire, a tragedy that forever changed the destiny of this desert community.

Among them was a 17-year-old boy.

#JudeTaylor.

One question continues to haunt historians.

How did this young man survive the inferno while the flames claimed the lives of his father, his mother, and his older sister?

As a believer, I can't help but see #God's hand in his survival. Every life saved is a miracle, and I thank our Heavenly Father every day for allowing those five people to escape such an unimaginable tragedy.

Terrence protected Nathan like a brother.

Today, I'm posting a little later than usual. This morning, I had to take my youngest daughter to the hospital for some medical tests. Thankfully, everything went well, and we're finally back home. Before long, it'll be lunchtime.

And that gave me an idea.

What do you say we take another trip into the #PalmSprings Desert, where the legend of #Reytac continues to reveal its secrets?

Every day, I enjoy sharing these stories with you a little more. And I truly hope that one day, major #American studios will bring Reytac to life through films, documentaries, or television series. Because the deeper we dig into its history...

The more extraordinary it becomes.

Speaking of lunchtime...

Have you ever wondered what the aristocrats of Reytac ate?

What dishes were served around their elegant tables?

And what about #JudeTaylor? Was he a picky eater?

Did he have a favorite meal?

Perhaps he loved homemade stew...Fresh bread...

Or maybe something as simple as roasted game.

Sadly, those are questions history will probably never answer.

The fire that devastated Reytac, along with the destruction of its train station, took many of those everyday memories with it forever. As for me...

One of my favorite meals has always been macaroni and cheese. I could eat it almost every day.

But let's return to Jude.

Because the mystery surrounding him grows deeper with every page of the Reytac archives.

Some people have wondered whether Jude Taylor had any connection to the #ElevenChildren of Reytac.

After years of investigation, our answer is clear.

No.

We didn't reach that conclusion by chance.

For most of his life, he had been protected by the people who loved him most, his father Judge Lubert Taylor, his mother, and his older sister #SallyTaylor.

Across the #UnitedStates, many of us share the same disappointment. Our national team was eliminated after a heavy 4-1 defeat against #Belgium. Last night, I was already imagining celebrating a victory. Instead, silence replaced the celebrations.

But now that soccer is behind us, let us return to the place where unanswered questions remain. Reytac.

This forgotten town in the Palm Springs desert, where legends sometimes seem more real than history itself.

Did you know that during the nineteenth century, one of the country's greatest symbols of prestige wasn't politics or military power? It was fashion.

French couture captivated aristocratic families across the globe.

And Reytac was no exception.

The wealthiest households imported luxurious silks, delicate lace, fine muslin, airy tulle, and breathtaking hand-embroidered fabrics from France.

Magnificent crinoline gowns dominated every grand reception.

Beautiful hand fans accompanied every graceful gesture made by the ladies of high society.
