कुछ वक्त पहले की बात है एक ऐसे प्रदेश के नेताओं के साथ राहुल गांधी बैठक ले रहे थे। जहां पिछले तकरीबन तीन चार दशकों से कांग्रेस सत्ता में नहीं है। उस बैठक ने RG ने नेताओं से कहा कि मैं जब कर्नाटक, तेलंगाना या केरलम के नेताओं से बैठक करता हूं तो कई नेता कहते हैं कि मैं मुख्यमंत्री बनना चाहता हूं, दूसरा कहता है मै बनना चाहता हूं। लेकिन जब मैं आपके राज्य के नेताओं से मिलता हूं कोई ये बात नहीं कहता। सारे नेता चुप्प, किसी ने आगे बढ़कर ये नहीं कहा कि मैं मुख्यमंत्री बनना चाहता हूं। बहरहाल बैठक खत्म हुई..सब लोग अपने घर गए। एक युवा नेता ने RG को व्हाटसअप किया, बॉस मै बनना चाहता हूं..
