@gigi_geno @KatePri14608408 @CHO_WAHealth@MarkMcGowanMP Our principal has been told not to say anything. We are “living with covid”. He made a comment to the staff about how grateful he was when one of the classes put on an assembly item talking about how you should wear a mask if you’re unwell.
@TheRealHoarse I was one of four people in our state to be chosen to take on a special mentoring program to encourage general classroom teachers to be more confident in teaching music. Just got back from the conference and training and I think this is going to be amazing!!
@JaneCaro I worked in an open plan middle school for 4 years. All teachers had to be on board and enthusiastic at all times - it was so draining! 130 kids, 5 teachers at once. As soon as the foundation principal left, walls went up immediately. Funny that.
@JonesHowdareyou@JaneCaro@MikeCarlton01 He’s a bit greyer now - we were in London last week and saw him in Kensington. Got the distinguished older gentleman look down pat. ❤️
@cocosmompdx@FinchTH Did you see the re-emergence of Marburg? I remember reading that if Marburg or Ebola mutates into an airborne virus, it’s sayonara everyone and thanks for all the fish… but don’t worry, Fox will tell everyone it’s just a little cold and nothing to worry about…
20 person choir, 2 fabulous performances Saturday night… cooped up in a small room in between shows, and now? At least 10 infected, including the conductor. Sigh…

@perthnow I got thrown into a music classroom because my principal had seen me playing in a band! I have done a great deal of external education since then but shudder to think what I taught the kids in my first few years!
@perthnow There has also been no specialist music education courses (ECU and UWA have implemented them in the past few years, although they are not dedicated degrees, only specialisations) in WA unis. When I went through Murdoch, music/art/Phys Ed were crammed into a 3 week segment.
@arlenparsa Australia had Port Arthur. Then our PM at the time instituted a ‘gun buy back’ scheme and increased gun owner regulations. Since then we’ve had very very very few incidences of people being slaughtered. 💔
@coffeespoonie (Eugh! *were and *Nemo)
was giving everyone instructions. We both looked at each other and asked if we really sounded like that? And the family behind us started pissing themselves laughing - they said that yes, we did, in fact, sound exactly like that. Bit mortifying to be fair!
@coffeespoonie Hahaha! I have it on reasonably good authority that Aussies tend to pick up other accents faster than others. :) mind you, after 6 months travelling, my hubby and I went to Disneyland and we’re waiting in the ‘Finding Memo’ queue where a very “ocker” Aussie accent 1/
