They're quick to ask... "What about Chicago?" or "Why don't you protest against street violence?", but when 1,000 Black men in Chicago did so earlier this month you didn't hear anything about it from the news media.
Nearly 100 years ago, a self-sufficient African-American neighborhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma known as “Black Wall Street” was destroyed. An estimated 300 people were murdered in racially-motivated attacks. We cannot let ourselves forget this painful history.
