That's also my gripe with some of the latest designs

They seem to intentionally hide or mislead you regarding the pokemon's stats, throwing away the meaning some shapes and colors used to have

I think that's a bad idea, and make the experience considerably worse

🚨Opinion:

TO ME the real genius of Pokémon designs is about data visualization. It allows you to understand really complex systems at a glance and with a (somewhat) intuitive approach

Being able to think of them as friends is a huge design W, not the other way around

It hurts me a lot but it is kinda beautiful seeing the collective mourning about Toriyama’s passing

His art touched millions and brought people together. It is hard to find a Brazilian that does not have fond memories around his creations
