@IbaraEleven My late grandfather used to buy foodstamps at 2:1 for cash. Even after they switched to cards, they'd just loan my grandmother the card and the cashiers at Walmart never checked. I'm sure others are still doing it. I ghink if it's less than $100 it's only a misdemeanor.
@PeterTwinklage Things with an outer coating of bread to touch are usually acceptable. Things with a bone to hold onto are usually okay.
But I would advise against ribs or wings in a "polite" situation.
In very polite situation you should touch the food with your hands at all.
@profjoeyg@zarazhangrui Does that mean it's taught at the freshman level? My university designed their AI major is that they don't even get to modern techniques until their junior year because they want to cover all the historical approaches too.
@johnnymaga Maybe the government shouldn't be telling private schools what they can and can't do at all. Federal research funding should be on the merit of the research, not other arbitrary school policies.
@qikipedia I think you've got it switched; I think it's 77% of interviewers have had a Gen Z applicant bring a parent. It can be a relatively small percentage of applicants since so many people apply for the jobs.
@GuntherEagleman No. 4 Weekends in jail and a year probation. We oversentence in this country. If he learns his lesson and behaves for a year, no reason he needs more time than that. If he doesn't, he can spend a year in jail.
@TheAliceSmith Because one is fictional and one is real life. We all have things we want to do, but know better than to do them. We call them fantasies and leave them alone.
