Tonight marked the last game for five @BbCosby seniors, including @RheaShylee.

From surpassing the 1,000-point mark as a sophomore to becoming the program’s all-time leading scorer for the modern era as a senior, Shelton has been one of the best to ever do it for the Cosby Lady Eagles.

Great district win for the @BbCosby last night against a solid Washburn team. @Godg23baller was terrific all night, she had 17 points in the 1st half to set the tone. We also got to honor @RheaShylee setting the career all time leading scorer record with over 1600 and counting!

The Lady Eagles finish with a 10-0 run to win a game they trailed for more than 27 minutes. Hance with 19 points and 10 boards, Shylee Shelton with 11 points, and Spurgeon with 10 for Cosby. Seven from Maddy Miller as well, then four points from Matisse Bible on the biggest moment yet of her career.

My girls (@BbCosby)0 went up to Whitley county Kentucky and played a really good team today. Battled our tails off, cut it to 4 late just couldn’t get over the hump. Was down 14 at one point and coudlve folded but didn’t. Super proud of the effort! This team has ❤️. Love my bunch
