I hate how my anxiety really gets to me over silly little things.
I know they’re silly - but the sensations of immediate doom are there anyway 😫
What I’d give to have my not squiffy 25 year old brain back 😅
For those not keen on X anymore - you can still find me here! Please give me a follow.

All nature and wildlife vibes 💚🌱
Idk if it’s just our neighbours but they see one #rat and call the council to put poison out.
It’s RIDICULOUS - one rat is not a problem they live everywhere. Just as common as birds. When people see a bird, they don’t freak out and try and kill it.
Stop killing nature.
The recovery of majestic humpback whales from near extinction after industrial whaling to near abundance today is a marvellous thing. It can be done! We can live in a world full of wildlife if we choose it.
Saw this graphic and I think it’s so important to teach this, so later in life it’s easier to identify in relationships.
Coercive control is subtle but it breaks you down, keeps you “in your box” and slowly removes your spark over time.
Nobody should have to live with it.
@GlavenEel Oh it’s so good to hear someone making the effort to be nice! I think a lot of people forget themselves when the weather goes a bit cold and grey!
The thing is @AngelaRayner, people need nature. We ARE nature.
And it's perfectly possible to create homes for people while saving homes for wildlife, including newts (who are, we might add, a vital part of wetland life).

What I would’ve done to do this GCSE at school instead I was forced to pick subjects “close” to what I needed for my career in conservation.
This GCSE will be a game changer in inspiring the next generation! Let’s not let it drop off.

IMPORTANT The campaign for a GCSE in Natural History has stalled. Labour see it as a "Conservative initiative" and won't progress it. It is not a political football, every child has the right to learn about the wonder of the natural world. Plse ask you MP to lobby for it now. 🙏
@george_hoppit The closest I could get at school was the sciences (which barely covered any environmental elements) and geography 😅 think I learnt more about nature in geography but it was still mostly tectonic plates 😫
