@RevJezx @IsabelOakeshott The mineral rights in the Falklands is privately owned, not owned by UK tax payers. Just like the oil in the North Sea which we should have kept instead of sold to at a rock bottom price company who at the time had the prime ministers husband on the board.
We already have an insurance based system. It is part of the plan that people start thinking like you. The NHS has already been promised to private healthcare companies. All that remains is to convince the people that it is in their best interests.
@DrEilidhMaria Actually I’d call the emergency number provided by the insurers and they’d take care of it.
The question we really need to be asking is; should we be moving to an insurance based health service model as the NHS is failing patients and staff….?
@grumpyoldfella@AndrewRTDavies It is up to you. It has not been censored or stopped from broadcasting. You can still watch it when and where you like. Although I imagine if you watched it in work your employer might have something to say about it. Same as if you watched Bargain Hunt instead of working.

Just so you know, if you believe the govt can’t afford things because ‘there’s no money left’, you have the economic understanding of a child.
The UK has a sovereign currency. We can create more money.
In fact we’ve created £900bn since 2008.
Or we could properly tax the rich.
