I am so sorry to hear this. How stressful! If it involves a hospital they have affordable payment plans and they have grants that will cover the bill if you’re eligible. There are also companies that will negotiate the credit card debt with the companies. Often debt is forgiven or reduced. Ask Grok who is reputable in your area.
