Given the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Rhode Island and across the country and to support the health and safety of our students, staff, and faculty, and their families, the University has decided to move classes online starting Monday, Nov. 23.

Effective immediately, the University of Rhode Island will implement mandatory COVID-19 testing for all students, both on- and off-campus residents, in collaboration with the Rhode Island Department of Health.
