Ever been told that men cannot speak to abortion because they are not women? If so, then you have encountered ideas founded on "Critical Theory." This is a great article analyzing that theory.

Go out and do what needs to be done. Leaders change the world. Change it.
That wraps up the #GLS18 for this year. Grace and peace to you all. God bless.
If you were starting today, what would you not do that you are doing today? Why are you still doing it?
If you were starting today, what would you do that you are not doing? Why are you not doing it?

Look at the problems around you, and figure out what could happen to solve them.
What do we do from here?
What is the true, current state of your leadership or organization?

When you see a problem, train yourself to think opportunity. Innovation is born out of limitation. Life church started multiple sites because they couldn't fit everyone in one site.
Innovation is seeing what everyone else sees, but thinking what no one else thought. #GLS18
Embody healthy skepticism, and lead with bold optimism. What is working now will not work forever.
Both fear and faith are choices. New challenges always equal new opportunities.

2) discern threats and opportunities.
Start learning to anticipate in areas outside of your area of expertise. Sometimes things outside your field will help you connect dots inside your field. #GLS18
Don't ask questions to confirm your bias, but to get to the bottom of why something is or is not working.
Kodak failed because they thought they were in the film business, when they were actually in the memory business. They were not situationally aware. #GLS18
If something is not working, ask why? and have the courage to tell the truth. And if it is working, ask why it is working. If you don't know why something is working, you won't know what is wrong when it's not. #GLS18
Most leaders could learn more from their mistakes if they weren't so busy denying them.
Look honestly, and have the integrity to tell the truth. Don't make excuses, look for real answers. #GLS18
We have to anticipate the future, but we need to be aware that we could be wrong.
We have to be careful not to fall into the curse of confidence. Being so sure that we stop listening to others. We start answering more questions than we ask, and we stop innovating. #GLS18
Anticipatory leadership often starts with "what if..."
The difference between a good leader and a great leader, is one who learns to anticipate rather than react. #GLS18
No matter how big your mess, how much your pain, how dirty your life, there is one who cares, and He can make you clean, give you hope, restore you to life. Jesus is bigger than what you face, than your pain, your fear, your failures. #GLS18
If we live for the infinite game, we impact others, and leave a legacy. They are better because of us. It matters that we lived when we die. If we live for the finite game, we become the richest, the strongest, the best, but when we die, we impact no one, and we just die. #GLS18
4) Existential flexibility.
If your cause drives your decisions you will be willing to blow up your own company to pursue it. If you are not willing to blow yourself up for your cause, someone else will do it for you. #GLS18
They inspire you to make improvements. To make a better product, to create a better experience, to keep improving.
Ideological rivals cannot be beaten, they remind us of why we are doing what we are doing. Drive us to keep pursuing our ideals. #GLS18
