@PaulMcCartney Did watching the final cut of Get Back offer any new realizations or change your perception of the interpersonal dynamics between the Beatles at that stage if the band’s history? Sending love from Atlantic Canada!
@yummyroll@TheCOVIDBlog1@ashkaur@dockaurG A beloved human being has just passed. Not only is it incredibly tasteless to speculate here about her cause of death, but worse, you have to twist it to further your spurious anti-vax agenda. People are grieving — show some humanity and respect.
@jameelajamil @michelle_dustin Anything cold brew. The process creates a less acidic coffee — it’s super smooth. I can drink black cold brew on an empty stomach but can’t do regular black.
How an Australian🇦🇺 state beat its second wave of #COVID19: Widespread testing, relentless contact tracing and draconian restrictions. Does Canada🇨🇦 have the stomach for this? by @kellygrant1 https://t.co/qKPSl4Z0IT via @globeandmail@IrfanDhalla#GlobalHealth
#COVID19 is exploding across Canada. It’s time for leadership. Other countries have had success with lockdowns. Why is Canada allergic to stronger action?
@NYinLA2121 I used to use that expression to show kinship, but I’ve learned it’s an appropriation of indigenous culture. I’m guessing no harm was intended, but I’m mentioning this in case you weren’t aware and are not an indigenous person. #intersectionalty
@DerekMacEwen @cycleguy57@CBCNB He had been corresponding with the PEI government since March, so he didn’t just show up at the border. He was also getting mixed messages from the NB officials on how to proceed. This story is much more nuanced than what’s being reflected in the comments.
@cycleguy57@CBCNB @DerekMacEwen He didn’t ignore them. He had proof of property in PEI, but he couldn’t prove the sale of a primary residence in BC b/c he’d been living in his camper. The rule, meant to deter seasonal cottagers, unfairly penalizes those who didn’t own property in their previous province.
