Morphology Monday!
October is Dental Hygiene Month! So this week’s Morphology/Word Root focus is on the word root DENT = TOOTH. Morphology/Word Root instruction is a great way to build vocabulary & improve comprehension. Keep Smiling!

5 Morning Habits to Make a Day Great:
1. Choose to Rise & Shine (vs Rise & Whine)
2. Write down 5 things you’re grateful for
3. Take a 10 minute “Thank You Walk” reflecting on your 5 things
4. Replace “HAVE to” with “GET to”
5. Trust in a bigger plan and purpose for your life
7 Ways to Make Today a Better Day:
1. Look for the good.
2. Appreciate the little things.
3. Be a helper.
4. Tell someone they matter.
5. Give more than you take.
6. Speak words of encouragement and hope (to yourself and others).
7. Believe the best is yet to come.
Be kind. Say thank you. Hold the door open. Compliment as many people as you can. Point out the good and be the good. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Love, serve and care. The world needs more of this today (and every day)!
My One Word for this year is POWER but it’s not about my power. It’s about a greater power. God’s power flowing through me to give me strength, help me live my purpose and make an even greater difference.
