A horrifying thread of recent IDF abuse of Palestinians not in Gaza but the West Bank, as recorded and celebrated on their own social media feeds.

Frequently Israel's apologists will tell you, all Hamas needs do is to give back the hostages and all will be well. These West Bank Palestinians have no connection with Hamas and have taken no hostages, yet this is what they suffer everyday under Israeli Occupation.

For too long, Israel has flouted International Law and seized Palestinian land without triggering sanctions and kept the Palestinians as stateless serfs to be abused in the manner shown in these clips. Meanwhile they have illegally settled 500,000 Israelis on Occupied Palestinian land in opposition to 131 UN resolutions, in an attempt to make a Two State Solution impossible. That Two State Solution needs to be imposed without delay. Only this will bring peace and justice to both peoples.

This is really lovely! But these reactions always feel like a reflection of how unusual disability is in Hollywood when it’s actually 1 in 5 of the population. As a reply says, “Christina has MS and she still went to the awards.” And?? Seeing this as unusual is very telling.
