@M4RC0KuN From the video, it seems that your video is coming out as you can see some of the screen but it is stretched and blurry. The humming sounds indicate that your audio lines were not cut properly. Please check Step 3, section 3 of the guide and make sure that the traces are cut.
Newest project in development. Rhotronix Comb Filter dedicated for getting rid of weird composite effects and turn it into clean Component signal. This is one of the earliest layouts. So CVBS and S-Video input to clean the dot crawl and artifacting and output YpbPr.
Hey guys, want your opinions on this: Due to the current chip shortage, the original DS VGA/HDMI mod has to be delayed. This mod is going to have touch screen support to use the bottom screen with dual display outupts. It is still coming out, but I am also

@YueYaiba Yes it will support original SNES due to the Microcontrollers available at this time. I am mostly going for a lagless solution and some scaling algorithms to add in as well. But mostly the "Lite" ironically would require a DS Lite
@YueYaiba It would be a lot cheaper to say since the "Lite" version will have probably one HDMI or VGA port rather than two. Since the chips to transmit HDMI are still hard to find. Is there a reason you do not need the touch screen as much and want to use a SNES controller instead?
@SoFishtry I would like to release the touch screen version sooner but I cant seem to find the appropriate chips as listed in my design. But thanks for your input.
touch screens are not that needed so much. So what do you guys think of a Full on mod of VGA/HDMI output with touch screen support and dual video output versus a "lite" version that has single video output and SNES controller input. Let me know your thoughts!

thinking about making a "lite" version of the mod which will cost less money and less materials, however it will not have touch screen compatibility. So SNES controller only with a single output. I see some potential in this setup for Pokemon shing hunters and such where

Got my Retrotink 5x today so I decided to plug my DS Nitro Unit RGB mod into it and here are the results. Taken on a C1 LG TV OLED. Still messing with the settings but so far this is what I found.
@Quest_4_Best I used the PAL AVE Chips for the Nitro Unit. However there are only some models that this works on. The hard part is finding a place to drill and shield the "sync on composite line" shortest patch since the longer the line gets, the more chance for bad image quality.
Also, while I am waiting for the new prototype boards to ship to me so I can test out more the VGA DS, I got a broken DS Nitro Capture Unit, fixed it and modded it to output RGB.
