@lordmatcauthon I was told by a dentist that if you're going to drink a sugary beverage that it's better for your teeth to use a straw. I don't use one for water or milk.
@ReaderReborn The Running Man. Stephen King books are hard to adapt, but The Running Man movie bears little in common with the book. They should have just called it something else, really. It would have been a fine standalone film.
@TigraineMantear@AnCaldazar About a month ago, I was finally able to use twitter with a VPN after a long stretch where certain things didn't work. Fix one bug and another shows up.
@Marcie_ATL @ReaderReborn @DPortents The only problem is that the Horn is sounded after Olver is born. That could be fixed though, by Gaidal not showing up, and perhaps Birgitte noticing his absence.
@TheSealbreaker As a utility worker who has listened to the CEO and VP types brag about steps taken toward renewable energy, I think you're barking up the wrong tree. I've also seen solar farms established in neighboring territories. Momentum is going toward renewable energy.
@JaimAybara Crap... I just realized how real that literary device is. Look at how the USA handled COVID. It doesn't matter which side you're on. Trust was low, miscommunication was high.
So uh... well done, Mr. Jordan.
@JaimAybara It's an often used literary device. Notably, Shakespeare used it in Romeo and Juliet. I see it in anime often.
When they find darkfriends unexpectedly, it decreases trust. When trust declines, communication suffers. It does make sense in some cases.
@avhies20 I re-read it recently and it's still Mat. His mischievous nature is just entertaining.
Nynaeve was better than I remembered from my first read. I think she moved up to second favorite.
@ChildBornhald They stopped serving my favorite dish a while back, so I don't care if every flaming Olive Garden burns to the ground (late at night while no one is there).
