VAR has gotten so bad that it’s prompted me to write my first piece in 4 years😅.
If like me, it got you thinking about what we can do to fix it, check it out & subscribe below! Will be trying to post weekly.

Rescued a point but still feels 2 points dropped. Arteta bringing on Saka / Eze at half time was an admission that he got it wrong & hopefully one that changes his thinking moving forward. Merino / Gyokeres offered absolutely nothing & Trossard 84 mins - good lord.
No idea why he’s being grilled for this - he’s spot on and was asked the question. Martinelli / Trossard would both want to be starting, I doubt either are happier being on the bench now they’re considered “finishers” rather than subs🤣 Does show the nonsense Arsenal discord…
🗣️ Richard Keys: “For me, the one thing that will cost #Arsenal the title this year is Mikel Arteta. Got it wrong at Liverpool, badly wrong. Got it wrong against Forest for me. How many games has Declan Rice played? Rested. Surely you put everything you’ve got into this early part of the season and say, ‘Go and get me a league, go and make a statement’.”
Umm, we won 3-0 Richard? What is happening here?
@Daz00000000 Meant more along the lines of that we need to improve how VAR is used in the Prem rather than remove it.
You’re right that the lower leagues likely can’t afford to implement 👍
Refereeing grinds my gears as much as anyone, but VAR is still needed for the clear & obvious mistakes.
This was in Leyton Orient’s play off semi final last season, given as onside. It’s bad at the moment but without VAR it’s definitely still worse🤣

Ultimately our first 11 is not a bad 11. The reason I have been Arteta out all season is because I believe another manager could have this team performing better, It’s as simple as that. This is not a bad team however the way Arteta has them playing simply doesn’t score goals.

Annoyingly I think Arteta will still be here for a couple of months. Nice run of games after the international break where we’ll probably pick up a couple of wins. Just delays the inevitable though. #afc
