why the hell is the Met Commissioner allowed to do the talk show rounds denouncing his boss lol. Basic norms of governance just collapsing in real time
Big up Ian Wright, Gary Neville, and Roy Keane for calling out what the US is doing to the World Cup. They didnโt shy away and condemned it all, including the decision to ban Omar Artan.
Officials have always had freedom of movement, and FIFA guaranteed it.
That ceremony reminded we have a real opportunity to promote Wales and Cymraeg on the world stage in 2028. I know itโs a UK and Ireland event but I beg we donโt muck it up by making it a London 2012 tribute act with a token nod to the Celtic countries

It is hard to overstate how bad the Welsh election was for Welsh Labour.
To understand it you need to look at how the young vote for Labour has collapsed. The 18-34 age group was where Labour did did best in 2021 when they got 44% of the votes in Wales of young people. However that dropped to just 7%.
According to data from the excellent @WalesGovernance at @cardiffuni, it seems that Labour's issues in Wales stem being perceived as not standing up for Wales, not being perceived as the best party to stop Reform, their stance on the crisis in Gaza and the fact people now blamed them as much as Westminster for the state of Wales' public services.
