@MontyYuanti @doublefakedavid@JeremyECrawford The reason given by Jeremy on multiple occasions is that it slows the game down when players have to consider whether to use a bonus action every time they take a turn. If pacing is not important at your table, it makes sense that you would be more permissive with bonus actions.
@ZerTrent @JeremyECrawford Luckily, there is no general rule assigning a damage type to boiling water, so this will always be up to the DM's discretion. This is as it should be, because these matters are best dealt with on a case-by-case basis (keeping in mind that magic ≠ physics).
@Azumante If I have upgraded a merc in every possible way, will I keep getting coin drops for that merc? I can't pre-order until I have this information.
@Kreptyne @therandom58@JeremyECrawford Obviously the conversation is ongoing, given the tweet above mine, which you didn't seem to have a problem with.
@therandom58 @Kreptyne @JeremyECrawford No, it just means the fighter is trained to make four attacks with one action. Things that can be done with bonus actions are simply not the same as things that can be done with actions. No time comparison is ever mentioned in the rules
@B00ZYKING @na_amoeba @GW_Alec @TiagoTaparelli @Celestalon@IksarHS Even funnier is the fact that because HSReplay cannot measure the true impact of a card like Oh My Yogg!, everyone acts like it's totally fine. Play rate and win rate are not relevant stats for a card that forces so many suboptimal plays when it's not even present.
@EonesDespero @Kreptyne @JeremyECrawford If I say, "My car is especially fast," does that automatically mean it's faster than your car, which may be an entirely different kind of car?
@themattlondon Looks like I'm in the minority, but I'd rather leave Dungeons Runs in the past. I prefer other types of PvE, like "lab" puzzles, the chess game, or something entirely new.
@IksarHS@RidiculousHat If you wait for population to explode, doesn't that just guarantee that we'll always have to endure several weeks of an extremely unpleasant meta before you even consider nerfing?
@IksarHS So ... Brawl is in an awful lot of Warrior decks, and I'm sure it makes it impossible to design interesting new board clears for Warrior. Maybe it shouldn't be in Core next year? (What I'm saying is: I am very tired of this card.)
@TravelingBardZ @PlayHearthstone ROTATING OUT: Rise of Shadows, Saviors of Uldum, Decent of Dragons, Galakrond's Awakening, most of Basic and Classic.
STAYING IN: Ashes of Outland, Scholomance Academy, Madness at the Darkmoon Faire, Darkmoon Races
@IksarHS@koljan016 F2P (and many paying) players often don't care about enjoying a class; they just want quick wins. They will pick any deck with a high win rate and quick games, i.e., Demon Hunter. Don't confuse that with a positive game experience. Remember Undertaker Hunter?
@KafkeKretz@IksarHS@Matus_emco@Kripparrian Agree with @KafkeKretz ... You're WAY overthinking it if you think instant gratification is more important than consistency or avoiding spoilers. If it's always end of game, no one will ever be confused or annoyed.
@brian_germain @Kreptyne @JeremyECrawford That does not mean it's necessarily faster than other actions. All actions are pretty fast, given that a round is only 6 seconds.
