Also, the other side isn’t “disappearing people.” That’s what Mao did. People are being detained and deported under immigration law( albeit, on many occasions, in an unnecessarily harsh and unempathetic manner). You can criticize how those laws are enforced without pretending immigration enforcement is some uniquely American authoritarian practice. Every country has laws governing who can enter and remain, and every country enforces them.

Love my Greek brother, but most children do have healthcare. Universal healthcare is an outcome not a method. Countries achieve it differently. Taxpayers fund massive amounts of healthcare that largely cover the poor & seniors (problematic with aging pop). We aren’t starting from zero, it’s about bridging the gap, which i think is moral, but not easy as a pandering slogan.
