With an average starting XI age of 21.5, they had the youngest team again in the SPFL as they continue to utilise a very young squad!

Referring in the lower leagues in the SPFL needs to be studied…seriously the worst officiating of a football match I have ever seen today. The referee alone was applauding but it’s a shame the linesman canny grow a pair either.

@ScotlandSky I can understand what they are trying to do here but if your bringing these young boys from premiership clubs to lower leagues and they just aren’t good enough why should they be punished to try and better there team by not playing players that just simply good enough

Stranraer FC are delighted to announce the signing of striker Robbie Foster on a short-term deal until January, following a successful trial spell.

Robbie has endured an injury-hit couple of seasons at Stair Park, but impressed once again during his recent period on trial, finding the net twice in four appearances.

The striker will now look to continue his fine form as a permanent member of the Blues squad.

Stranraer FC are excited to announce the permanent signing of defender Kenzi Nair from @JamTarts.

The 20-year-old centre-back arrives at the @limedotonline Stadium after spending eight years developing through the academy ranks at Hearts, where he went on to captain the club’s B team.

Kenzi gained valuable first-team experience during the 2025/26 campaign, making 35 appearances on loan with fellow William Hill League Two club The Spartans.

A composed and commanding defender with strong leadership qualities, Nair joins the Blues ahead of the new season.

Stranraer FC are delighted to announce the signing of 23-year-old towering centre-back Mark McLuckie from Bo’ness United.

The 6’5 defender arrives at the @limedotonline Stadium following an impressive season at Newton Park, where he was voted the club’s Committee Player of the Year.

Having previously featured for East Kilbride, St Cadoc’s and Kilwinning Rangers, Mark also reunites with Chris Aitken and Martin Fellowes after playing under the management duo earlier in his career.
