I’ve been building a small Mac app to make voice typing feel instant, private and live quietly in the notch
It’s called Thuum.
It runs locally on Apple Silicon, uses Core ML / Neural Engine and has a Rust core under the hood.
No subscription. Simple software, as it should be.

In #UE5.2 we have added Skin/Bone Weight support to UDynamicMesh, and a small library of GeometryScript functions for Skin/Bone Weight manipulation. For example this is a simple debug Actor that visualizes the weights for a selected bone index as vertex colors.
Tired of manually moving meshes to the ground in your level?
