@RichterAurelian@jakeshieldsajj That’s your takeaway? Yea, taxes are robbery, absolutely. Keep your eye on the ball here..a random guy was clearly propped up to help influence all of our existence.
@dmamoosh@BradleyMartyn Doesn’t matter if he was a billionaire or worth worth $500 million. If it were $100 million, that’s an insane net worth growth from being a high school teacher. Not to mention the Rolodex of celebrities and world leaders. Shit is impossible to organically happen otherwise.
@dmamoosh@BradleyMartyn Brother. What in the fuck. A billionaire or even being “worth about $550 million” is an insane amount. Especially considering he was a high school teacher and just made career switch with no background in finance. Can’t decide if you’re a just blind to this or it’s intentional.
@popeye_XIV @donny_verve I’ve worked for 10+ years in software selling into primarily hospitals. The average annual deal has been right around $100k. Largest deal I’ve closed was north of $1M per year. For me, $20k/yr isn’t anything to even get excited about closing.
@tricklowe@AdultingIsEasy Almost every SaaS gig, after 6 or so yrs of experience, has a base of $125k to $150k.
Admittedly I may have tunnel vision but I’ve seen a noticeable increase in salary since Covid.
Roles that were $100k base now are much higher. Agree with your latter sentiment.
