Today I went to a peaceful flag wave in Portland.

Leftists followed us for an hour to Fred Meyer, throwing rocks and cans the whole way. I got hit with a can. A rock almost hit me.

At the store, Antifa agitator Tracy Molina confronted me, threw objects at me, and struck me. After the fourth strike, I defended myself.

This was an ugly, unnecessary situation. I wish she had not put her hands on me. I will always protect myself and the people around me.

When October 7th happened, the "Free Palestine" crowd on social media was quick to push back, claiming these complete acts of evil were somehow justified.

Terrible news. Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber just lost their son. Presley Gerber died Sunday at 27. That’s a parent’s worst day. I can’t begin to imagine their grief. I’ll pray for the Crawford and Gerber family.

TMZ reported it tonight. The family asked for privacy. Cause of Presley’s death has not been released. An autopsy is still pending. That’s all that needs to be said about the how.

Presley had spoken publicly about panic attacks and getting help. His sister Kaia Gerber had talked about what that fight did to their family. A famous last name doesn’t protect you from that turmoil. It just means the grief is going to be watched by the public.

Pray for Cindy, Rande, and Kaia. Leave them alone. Let them bury their son. RIP Presley.

While everyone stares at the oil price, almost no one is looking at the freight.

It now costs about $24 to move one barrel of crude from West Africa to China on a VLCC carrying 2 million barrels. That is more than 20% of the value of the oil itself.

On 18 September the number hit $23.59. The year-to-date average was $7.30. In early January it was $2.50. It is a historic record.

Americans should not think they are the only ones paying more at the pump. The enemies of America are paying far more, and they are under far more pressure.

The Islamic Republic, Russia, and China are absorbing the real cost of this market: longer routes, war-risk premiums, scarce tankers, and a logistics system that no longer works the way it did a year ago. A few extra dollars for American drivers is not the same thing as a regime that cannot move its oil, a Kremlin bleeding in Ukraine, and a Chinese refiners’ bill that now includes a fifth of the cargo just to get the barrel across the ocean.

That is the trade. Americans pay a little more for fuel. In return, the Islamic Republic is blocked from a nuclear weapon, Russia is being broken in Ukraine, and China is paying a strategic premium it did not budget for.

United States is the winner here, but we have to be patient and trust Trump.
