Bei uns auf der WortSchatzInsel läuft eine neue Studie: wir schauen, wie Kinder sich in neuen Situationen verhalten. Dafür freuen wir uns über alle, die teilnehmen möchten!
Short info for everyone leaving Lancaster today: many trains have been cancelled. Mine to London, Sia‘s to Manchester Airport. It’s probably better to get to the train station early so that you can take an earlier train in case yours gets cancelled too. @LCICD
It was such a privilege to dive into Raji's amazing work and talk about the extent to which parents' estimates of children's interests are reflected in children's looking behaviour and the quality of parent-child interactions! #ICIS2022@Raji_SMadhavan
At the symposium along w @bankianna@gabi_markova@_danielaschmidt & @LorijnSZ (also there in spirit), Ricarda will present how we have been using looking time to study infants in-person & online (aka during COVID - my first PhD study was launched during COVID!) Poster down below
Absolutely gutted I can't attend @Infantstudies#ICIS2022 as I haven't received my visa for Canada (this seems to be a big issue for many people for many conferences in Canada) - I was super looking forward to this superb Conference to be my second conference of my PhD but alas..
And that‘s a wrap for WortSchatzInsel at WILD! What a wonderful experience talking and meeting real people rather than their rectangular doubles. WSI can’t wait to be back in Lisbon in 2024.
Second day of #TheActiveChild workshop: we're starting off with thr only in-person bit of the workshop - a hands-on demonstration of headmounted eyetracking by Clare Kirtley
We are hiring! Postdoc in my group looking at curiosity-driven learning in social interactions between toddlers and their peers and caregivers. In an interdisciplinary consortium with a fun, active, diverse research group: https://t.co/jKnpcZil1a
