As an experiment in virtual world #cartography, I wrote a little Python script to automatically download and combine an arbitrary number of fully zoomed-in map tiles. First up, a high-res image (6656 x 6656, prior to Twitter’s compression) of Heterocera’s 430 regions. #SecondLife
