Sanders supporters could be equally defined by their fervent devotion, though I think that is equally unfair.

Trump is just so often verifiably dishonest that his followers are forced to choose.

And his supporters are not necessarily stupid or gullible, they simply have surrendered themselves to him.

It's a moral failure that is embarrassing to see.

Given that he's accomplished almost nothing, and that only after having to be forced, I'd say it's a pretty easy test to grade.
